Many-many years ago I’ve tasted Android app development as well. One of my apps for internal use, I created that time now had to be re-created to make it work on new Android versions.
I’ve open-sourced this app (https://github.com/dralisz82/SmsRemote), also it is my first app available in Google Play.
In the last couple of years I started to deal with home automation and supervision, primarily with solutions driven by my own needs.

Ulfi-Bus is a field-bus protocol for connecting home, office or industrial devices, providing easy address configuration even on very constrained devices.
Ulfi is intended to be used on broadcast-like bus architectures, like RS-485 or radio. Using double addressing mode to fulfill contradicting requirements of globally unique addresses and supporting extremely constrained devices at the same time. Security and authenticity is supported optionally in a very thin layer, requiring minimal processing capacity – thus latency – when it is not used.
Ulfi-Bus is currently under development with working prototype, going to be disclosed soon.

My first project as a business has been back in 2002 and I designed and built it during the summer vacation between high school and university. Hardware and software has been combined for the aim of conducting an answer picking style test with examinees, presenting them the questions with the options and acquiring their answers via keyboards having keys: A, B, C, D. After acquisition the system summarized and evaluated the answers.
